SERPENT LIGHT Hard At Work On Debut Demo

SERPENT LIGHT, the new black/power metal band featuring Swedish guitarist Mika (Sadist) Leppänen (also in NIFELHEIM) and American metal vocalist Sheena Khan, are currently working on eight songs, three of which will be released on an upcoming demo (which will also be available for download in MP3 format).

SERPENT LIGHT's music is being described as "innovative, black/power metal," according to a press release. "The vocals consist of clean, dark, powerful and dramatic vocal melodies with loads of range. The lyrics have messages pertaining to subjects such as the occult, philosophy, and sociology. The lead guitar is described as heavy and darkly unique with very emotional riffing. The second guitar creates unique harmonizing with the lead guitar and solid rhythm. The bass lines are straight and heavy with some ornamentation and unique harmonizing. The drumming by David Flood (also in I LIED),is nothing short of heavy, progressive and powerful. In conclusion, SERPENT LIGHT's music is sure to open new doors!"
